Going to medical school

I went off to school today. Medical school, that is.

No, I am not going to become a doctor. I'm not that smart. Although I can dream, can't I? Doctor Colin, I like the sound of that.

Actually, I was trying to gain new customers. I have a friend who is an orthopedic physician at the Ucla medical center.

I paid him a visit today, hoping that he will refer some of his patients to my practice. His work and my work are complementary. His patients could always use some good massage therapy.

I did some favors for him recently. And I brought some gifts for him and his partner, as further enticements. It was a productive visit.

I met this dude while I was on the campus. He is a med student. I was checking out information about seminars about orthopedic medicine and massage therapy. I bumped into this dude. We struck up a conversation.

I noticed that he was wearing cut off shorts. You don't see a lot of guys wearing cut offs. He looked more like an undergraduate than a med student.

As for me, I went with a business casual look. After all, my visit was for business.

Flannel

So far, I have had a busy week. But I managed to find time to hang out with my bud Tyler today.

I always look forward to meeting Tyler because I am curious to see what kind of fashion statement he will be making. He is not a conventional dresser. I admire that about him. Gives me inspiration.

By the way, I went with the badass look today. I wanted to change things up a bit. Some of my clients liked the look. Others not so much. They preferred to see me in bright colors.

As for my meeting with Tyler, he didn't disappoint. He wore an outfit that I myself wouldn't wear in public. His flannel shirt barely covered over his privates. When I first saw him, I wondered if he was going commando.

Cloudy and sunny

We have had a lot of cloudy days recently, with a few wet ones.

I don't like the gloomy look of a dark overcast sky. Besides, LA is so much more picturesque when it is sunny.

I have a client who lives near city hall. He has a great place with a balcony that provides beautiful views of the civic center area.

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon. You can see how beautiful the area looks with a blue sky in the background.
