Go Dodgers!

A lot of my clients are Dodgers fans.

I have to admit that I'm not really a Dodgers fan. In fact, I'm not really a big baseball fan anymore. However, it doesn't hurt for me to wear a Dodgers cap when I meet those clients.

I have jumped on the Dodgers bandwagon ever since the team clinched the division title.

It has worked to my advantage for my clients to think that I am a fellow Dodgers fan.

I have added a Dodgers cap as a possible accessory to any wardrobe that I might wear to work, at least until the Dodgers' season comes to an end one way or another.

By the way, I have also added LA Dodgers briefs to my underwear collection. Do you like?

Go Dodgers!

free membership

I recently received an offer for a free 2 week membership to a gym not too far from where I live.

I already have a gym that I frequent. I don't need or want to pay for another gym membership. But when I learned that the gym included a spa and massage service, I decided to check it out.

I especially wanted to check out the quality of their massage facility and the kind of massages it offered.

I went over to the gym the other day. The workout area was nothing special. It was like any other gym. But like I said, I really went to check out the massage facility.

The facility was rather Spartan. The tables were very basic. It was nothing like what you would find at a spa. I tried to sign up for a massage, but no one was on duty at the time. Maybe I will try some other time before the free membership expires.

I guess I won't have to worry about the gym becoming my competition.

The pool area was decent. It was clean and quiet. It had a nice circular pool within a pool. Most gyms do not have a pool. So having a pool is a plus for this gym.

Overall, I wasn't so impressed that I would want to pay the regular membership fee.

another trip to mexico

I traveled down to the northern Baja area of Mexico again last week. It was just for a day and a half.

The trip was a mixture of business and pleasure.

The person who invited me to Mexico wanted me to take part in a photo shoot, partly as an observer and partly to do some modeling. How could I refuse.

I got to stay in this charming hut, which is part of a larger resort. It might look primitive on the outside, but inside, it has all the comforts of a resort hotel.

I spent a lot of time in and around the water, which is where the photo shoot took place. I was mostly an observer. I did a few poses but as an accessory to the main models. Mainly, I just enjoyed my time there. It was more like a short vacation, and I needed it.

I had a chance to goof around with the other models.

Pink trunks

I had a interesting encounter at work yesterday.

By the way, you will notice that I was not wearing my typical work wardrobe. No t-shirt or shorts or anything of the kind. I wore a nice dress shirt and trousers for the day. One of my clients that I worked on yesterday made a request early on that I look "respectable" whenever I would meet with him in his apartment. He told me that he didn't want his neighbors to see him dealing with a "sloppily" dressed person.

IMO, I don't look sloppy, even when I am wearing a t-shirt or shorts. I am a massage therapist, not a banker. Besides, why would I want to look sloppy in front of my clients? I always try to wear clothes that are appropriate for the job and for the client.

However, I go with the philosophy that the client is always right. If a client wants me to dress up, then dress up I shall.

Anyway, back to my encounter ... after I finished the massage session with my client, and as I was leaving the apartment complex, I bumped into this dude. The dude was wearing pink swim trunks. Actually it looked more like underpants.

He was heading for the pool. He was definitely drawing attention to himself.

Anyway, he noticed that I was carrying a massage table. He came up to me and started asking me questions. We chatted. I told him that I was a massage therapist. He said that he was interested, that he could use a massage. I gave him my info. I haven't heard from him yet.

I thought that it was ironic that I was, relatively, dressed up for work so that I would look "respectable", but then you have this dude who is a resident there who was hardly dressed at all. I wonder what my client would think if he saw this dude strutting around the complex.
