In the gym

Gotta look cool, even when you're at the gym.

Even though it's just the gym, you don't want to look like a slob.

At the gym, you will encounter smartly dressed people and those who are not so smartly dressed.

the best personal trainer in town.
He may be the sharpest dressed trainer as well.

Artist inspired

You never know where or when inspiration will strike.

Believe it or not, a client's gift and artwork gave me the inspiration for this outfit.

It has an artsy look to it, don't you think? Or maybe not. You know the saying, art is in the eye of the beholder.

Don't overthink it.
I actually wore this outfit to work last week.

The hat that I am wearing in the photo was given to me by Sandra. Sandra is a client of mine. And she is an artist. Her artwork has sparked the artist in me. The only difference is that my canvass is my own body. Does that sound corny or what?

This is another outfit that I was inspired to put together.

Jumping off the cliff

Did you watch the Rio Olympics?

There is something about the Olympics that piqued my interest. I tuned into it on tv when I got home from work the past couple of weeks. I even watched some of the sports that I normally don't ever watch.

Anyway, the diving events inspired me to go for my own gold, so to speak.

I didn't have access to any pools that have sky high diving boards, so I couldn't exactly imitate the diving conditions of those Olympic divers. But I do have access to cliffs that overlook the ocean, and they are open to the public. And that was where I went on Sunday.

I took one of my buds to Palos Verdes for some cliff diving. It is an awesome place for diving.

My dives obviously had no where near the elegance of Olympic divers. I probably looked like an idiot on my way down to the water. But who cares. I had a blast.

Maybe you will see me in the next Olympics, if cliff diving ever becomes an Olympic sport.

Home and away

It has been a long day. I am glad to be back home.

waking up in a stranger's bed

I don't like to start the work day somewhere other than my own place. I am accustomed to going through my usual morning routine at home before I take off for work. I feel so out of place when I am not at home to begin the day. I am sure you know the feeling

I started the day by waking up on a stranger's bed. Actually, it wasn't a stranger's. But you get my drift.

Anyway, I was out late last night. I was persuaded that it would be best for me to stay overnight at a buddy's place, especially since I had a morning session with a client in venice. It was just more convenient for me. It saved me from enduring a long morning commute, as well as a long drive home last night.

Venice looks beautiful in the morning. I guess if I had to start the day somewhere other than home, Venice would be the place. I love the atmosphere of Venice and its canals. I wouldn't mind living there.

Glad to be back home after a long day.

makeshift runway show

It's good to know people who know people. By that, I mean people who can get you into places.

Yesterday, my buddy Ryan took me along with him to a gathering at an estate in Pacific Palisades. These were well-to-do folks whom his family has business dealings with.

It wasn't really the people there that I was interested in. I always enjoy being invited to a mansion. It is interesting to see the places where these wealthy people live. It makes you wonder what could be in store for you, if you make the right moves.

The property had this wooden boardwalk in the yard. I put on a makeshift runway show for my buddy.

We then went down to the nearby beach. This is a beautiful area of LA.
