Rainy day blues and underwear update

Blue as in the color blue. As well as in my moody blues.

Meagan thought it was the perfect time to do a quick photoshoot. She called me early in the morning. It had rained overnight. She said that the gray overcast sky and puddles on the ground provided the right setting for the outfit that she wanted me to model.

I didn't want to do it. I had to go to work later that morning. I wasn't in the mood. Besides she didn't give me enough time to prep myself for a photoshoot. Good thing that I have a trusty hat for such occasions.

Anyway, she picked a location that reinforced the moody blues, an alleyway of a cold gray colored building.

I guess the shoot turned out ok. The images were respectable.

The red socks and, of course, the hat was my idea. I wanted some bright colors in the mix.

By the way, in my previous post, I wrote about my underwear dilemma. I am probably not going to go through with it. As much as I like free spirited clients and as much as I want to accommodate the wishes of my clients, I don't think it would be a good idea to fulfill her wish at this time.

This is one of the pairs of undies that I bought for the occasion, that probably will not happen. At least the undies that I bought will not go to waste. I have been wearing them around the house. They may be small but they are surprisingly comfortable.

Massage: terms of service

Sometimes my clients can be quite demanding. That doesn't necessarily bother me. It depends on what they are demanding.

One client made an intriguing demand recently. My clients wear a minimal amount of clothing, if they wear anything at all, during our massage sessions. Btw, that is standard practice in this business.

Anyway, my client "V" wants to turn the tables on me. She suggested that I dress as minimally as she does whenever I am massaging her. At first I thought she was joking. But as we discussed the matter, she was really enthusiastic about the idea. She says it would be fun.

I didn't commit to anything, but I am seriously considering doing it. V is not merely a client, but she is not quite a friend either. We have socialized before. We have attended the same events and parties. I think I would feel comfortable enough to do that with her. She is a fun person and one with a good sense of humor. And I do want to satisfy my clients.

I went shopping for whimsical underwear the other day. I like to shop at flea markets and thrift shops for clothing. You can find unique clothes at those type of places. I bought several pairs of fun looking underwear. But I still haven't decided if I should fulfill V's desires. I am not sure what the implications of that may be.

Coffee with style

Besides frequenting the gym, I admit that I also have been spending a lot of my free time at coffee bars and shops. Ever since returning from Hawaii, I have been craving Hawaiian iced coffee.

I searched for and found several coffee bars that serve this drink. For me, the bar that makes the best tasting Hawaiian iced coffee happens to be in Beverly Hills. I can tell you one thing. Starbucks got nothing on this place.

The coffee at this place cost a pretty penny, but it is worth it. Don't get me wrong. I don't have one of these coffees everyday, and I rarely patronize the businesses in Beverly Hills. The place is too rich for my blood. But I have to allow myself to live a little, right?

I actually dress for the occasion, whenever I go to this coffee shop. I wear something casual but on the classy side (like the outfit I'm wearing in the photo). I don't want to look like a slob or seem like I don't belong and then get that snobby sneering look from the servers. I want to blend in with the rich and famous of Beverly Hills.

orange and chili coffee
This is another coffee drink that the barista introduced me to. This drink has a kick to it.

This coffee shop is very upscale but with a touch of whimsy. It is nice. I don't like snobbishness nor pretentiousness, but for the sake of a good coffee, I am willing to go with the flow.

Inclement weather

Neither rain nor snow nor heat is going to keep me from my appointed rounds. I guess I should drop the "snow" part since it never snows in LA.

El Nino has hit Socal. I haven't seen that much rain since, well, whenever it last rained this much.

No matter. I went to work today like it was any other work day, except for the fact that I wore my rainy day getup. I suppose it was a good change of pace to wear stuff that I haven't put on in a while. I wore this relatively bright colored jacket as a contrast to the dreary gray day.

Another way that I brighten up my day is by working out. The sweating and the physical exertion really pumps me up.

Also, having a cute workout buddy would brighten up anyone's day.

Surf's up

Surf's up dude.

By the way, happy new year to you all. Hope you all had a good new year's day celebration. I wish you all good fortune and good health in this new year.

I spent the afternoon catching some waves. I didn't plan on doing any surfing today. I am not a surfer. But a bud of mine dragged me along with him for some surfing in Laguna Beach. He wanted company. He is having a very long holiday vacation. Too much free time.

Anyway, he called me up wanting me to go surfing with him. He thought that I had the day off. I told him that I had a morning session with a client. When I got home, he was waiting on my doorstep. There went my afternoon. I had to spend the rest of my afternoon with him surfing.

I am not a surfer, although I had surfed before. It had been a while since I surfed. I went reluctantly. It was a wet and rainy day anyway, so why not have some fun getting wet.

There was hardly anyone out there this afternoon, which was good because that meant that there wasn't anyone to see me wipe out. Mostly I just hung out with my board on the beach checking out the few surfer babes that were there.

At least, he treated me to a good meal of tacos afterward.
